I was looking at back entries and that helped me realize the progress that I’ve seen. For example, my mouth sores have gotten small and fairly insignificant…I don’t need Lidocaine mouthwash to eat anymore. This morning, for the first time since the end of treatments, I woke up feeling a bit of energy! So, spring is on its way, I’m sure of it now. And I think maybe we’ll put some seeds in to sprout. hooray, hope!

I am so happy you are feeling a bit more hopeful, but I sure don’t blame you for all the fear, anger, and impatience you feel some times. The blog is a really good tool to help us all keep a perspective when in the day by day, it seems like nothing is getting better.
I remember the first time you and I discussed the fact of your cancer… It was right in the middle of your tomatoe blitz – you said, “Next year I’ll be more deliberate about which kinds I plant..” then you paused and said, “If I am here next year.” I cried then and hoped you didn’t notice.
Well a billion years later, you ARE HERE! And I cannot wait to eat your tomatoes!!! (I even promise to take more of them home this year.)
Still keeping track of you, Cathy AND Beth! And forwarding messages to the people I know who are following you! Keep up the great work!

Hooray!!!! I’m so glad you’re feeling more energetic!!!!
Seeds growing, early Springtime, and your energy back — all wonderful news.
